Notice:

Web build is outdated at the moment, it is the 1.1 version, it still plays fine but I made a few bug fixes in version 1.2. If the web build did not work for you, try using firefox. If all fails you can download the files and play locally. I highly suggest downloading the 1.2 version of the game as I fixed some annoying bugs.

Controls:

- press left and right to move in that direction, you automatically move in that direction
- double tap a direction to dash, dashing makes you invincible for a while and also unleash a dash shot
- press left and right at the same time to stop yourself so you remain stationary
- dash and stop yourself will unleash a charge shot, your charge will build up when not dashing and reset when activated or dashing
- you can automatically shoot as well

Rules:
- don't touch a enemy bullet or an asteroids
- don't let an asteroid fall into the city, you and the city share health
- your can dash through the bullets and asteroids while killing them entirely, great for offense and defense
- good luck and get that sweet sweet high score. :D

What is this?

It is the year 20XX, a time where an anomaly happened above the sky, it is now crumbling. asteroids starts to fall that crumble into giant eyeballs (for some reason...) starts invading the land of civilization. But fear not, the space ship is here to defend ground form the falling sky above for ... well as long as you can... there is no victory for you.

This is a game made for the 2-Buttons Jam 2020. The theme I choose is "Crumble". It is a space invaders style shmup where you will have to defend a city from the sky crumbling above.

Falling sky is an arcade style game where you control a ship with only 2 buttons, you can shoot, dash, shotgun blast, deflect bullets and many more with just a 2 button control scheme. The controls are simple but it quite a bit of depth to it, especially if you are playing for score. There is a high score and a basic scoring system in the game if you wan to show of your gamer skills or play however you like. We don't care. The game and controls might take some time to get used to but don't worry as each play session are quick (unless you are that good, I guess) so some messing around is also encouraged.

Really great. The game is gorgeous, the music very nice, the controls well thought... even the menu is very pleasing with its charging buttons.
