Cards, Dates and Inseparable Love

Game Info: 

This game is a visual novel with a card game twist. See the story of 2 love birds, Alice Margatroid and Marisa Kirisame went on dates with each other. They will have conversations using a magical card game, they will have to match a pair of cards and start a conversation based on the context of the card. The game contains a 4 act structure telling a story of a series of dates through out their entire lives. 

Story:

Alice and Marisa decided to went on a date in a café. Alice was not the talking type and finds herself uncomfortable with conversations. It was until Marisa introduced her a deck of magic cards that when played with a partner, it can "magically" start conversations without one feeling awkward. Alice soon find the cards making her being able to conformably talk to Marisa and decided to play these cards with her on the following dates. They played this card game during the dates whenever they get to, for the rest of their lives...

• A card game twist on the genre, match the cards to start a conversation based on the cards matched.

Controls:

• Advance button: to advance the dialogue line
• Left click: to show the dialogue line fully instead of waiting it to be typed out completely
• Toggle UI button: toggle on and off the dialogue box so you can see the background art
• History log button: read the dialogue history log if you have missed any, the latest one will appear at the bottom.
• Holding Spacebar: hold the spacebar to skip one dialogue conversation

Debug controls:

• Press backspace to restart the scene, used if there are any issue, does not save progress
• Press Alt-F4 to exit at any time, sadly there is no exit option other than the main menu.
